Jura Giga 5 - Jura Giga screen polishing after shipping damage? Spraying or wrapping alu parts?
BeitragZitat von BlackSheep: „Looks cool. Make a picture of the whole machine when finished… What foil is it? Walnut? Which manufacturer? Here most people use „carbon“ design. “ Well, done, except the coffee spout is fixed since the gears inside were used for X8 pro machine I needed to complete Managed to refinish the clear plastic part of the display (very labor intensive) stripped the top foil and polished the plastic like car headlights, masked the display area, sprayed with mat black and topped the…

Manufacturer: Jura | Type/Model: C5 Impressa | Approx. Year of manufacture: 2011 Zitat von ThomasundAnna: „ Hello everyone, After strange noises, this part suddenly appeared in the area where the collection container is. Can someone tell me where this needs to go and if I can do it myself? Mechanical knowledge available: NO | Electrical knowledge available: NO | Measuring device available: NO “ Tom&Anna ....where is the picture?

I have installed the new “system” with your mentioned items. Still same problem...But only after turning the machine on. The pressure reducer is in the lowest setting. Zitat von skatehouse: „ “ I have to say this is virtually impossible Did you test the water flow as I suggested before connecting the new white pressure reducer to the machine? Careful there is in and out of the reducer, it only works directionally! Once again: make the water trickle on the output of it. When you stop the water by…

Zitat von skatehouse: „Well, I didn't know that. But it's actually logical, because it works with a tank too. Are you really sure about the pressure reducer that turning it anti-clockwise reduces the pressure? We're talking about one like this. “ Sorry, I was unavailable yesterday ... Yes, that's the one Test the 24V solenoid as well while you have it out, disconnect the red/black wire leads connect the water supply and make sure it's not leaking, connect external 24V DC to it and it should open…

Good, let us know how it works for you! BTW this machine will work from external tank without any problems so you can just place large 5 gal container inside the cabinet it's standing on and put the intake hose in it Many people who do catering do this. You are lucky having access to parts, Jura Canada will not sell internal parts to anyone, and one part source from US is complete ripoff, they think they are selling gold. Thanks to one very nice forum member ( and you know who you are ) I'm able…

Zitat von skatehouse: „I just thought that there was something wrong with the pump or that something wasn't being activated when it was switched on. But that's true. Everything basically happens BEFORE the pump. I'm really curious to see whether I won't run into the system filling error with the inlet pressure...which is significantly reduced. I think that's about as much pressure as a water tank generates “ No you won't the pump is strong enough to compensate and if not you just slightly increa…

Zitat von skatehouse: „Ideally, I would like to have the plastic connection from 3/4 to 1/4 under the sink, the pressure reducer directly there and then with a thin John Guest hose to the machine and then back to 3/4 inch. Could that work? I would then have the shut-off valve directly at the connection - it's already there. I just don't want my kitchen to suddenly be under water when someone on Amazon is already talking about plug connections and Teflon tape. I'll take a look at the water filter…

ClocThat sounds plausible. That means: if the machine is not in use, it will build up the same pressure on the hose, at least when starting up, despite the pressure reducer in the installation. Does your suggestion fit the carriage that is in the machine? Or how should it be connected? Zitat von skatehouse: „I turned it clockwise and thought that would reduce the pressure. You wrote anti-clockwise? I can try that again, of course. “ Turning it clockwise will increase your pressure, it works oppo…

Do your colleagues have a suggestion for one that could perhaps be placed between two hoses? Phew... I don't like all of this. Another possible leak point for water Zitat von skatehouse: „ EDIT: After the hose came off here and there again, I took the whole thing apart again. I was about to buy something new with a tank. Then I thought to myself...whatever...I'll just turn this pressure reducer. I noticed...it was turned all the way open. I turned it clockwise until it was completely closed. The…

I had one x8c with the internal pressure regulator/balancer that did absolutely nothing. Just install external one for fraction of the cost. Done, working perfect. (I did post about it here) If you decide to tinker with the internal one be careful, the plastic fitting that is connecting the solenoid to the regulator likes to crack. It is very brittle.

BS got it right as usual Thanks again! komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachment/20193/komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachment/20192/

That is correct - you sure explained the problem very nicely and efficiently! Makes sense, will check the H valve condition Thank you!

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga X8c Professional | ca. Baujahr: 2016 Happy holidays folks! Recently acquired another two x8c units, and the "fun" with these never ends While working on one of them I discovered that when you use the hot water dispenser or flushing the frother, there is slight water flow from the drainage valve stem that inserts water in the brewing chamber on the brewing unit. Swapped the brewing units, and problem persists. Would you think that this is the ceramic valve not…

Zitat von BlackSheep: „Isn‘t it Teflon? (PTFE) “ Looks like regular hard plastic to me, but I'm not sure. In any case I'm sure any plastic will work just fine.

Zitat von BlackSheep: „Seems a little bit expensive: ebay.de/itm/296118618659 I had buyed a used complete coffee spout with a broken fabric tape for not much more than 60€ some time ago… “ Thanks BS! No kidding, almost worth to start 3D print these parts

Well, it ain't pretty but it works again I casted the whole valve body to epoxy and it's working great. This is obviously the last possible solution since all coils and the body itself is one unit for ever, but I refuse to pay the exorbitant cost they are asking for it. Also discovered 2 additional problems in the spout. One LED is dead, looking for 2 now or more since I have another machine that needs replacement. Managed to source LED from someone but waiting for them to run test batch. Looks …

Hi BSAt the Jura X7 and X9 you also can see such corrosion at the valve block. Zitat von BlackSheep: „Think about that in these machines there are 24V and not 230V valves! The 4 valves seams to have one water support connected. Look at me fluid-plan at “User Guides” valve F1 to F4: komtra.de/forum/index.php/Atta…n-GIGAX8C-A6551602060-pdf “ Hi BS! Yes, I did test them with 24V DC bench power supply. Thanks for the link Same crazy corrosion at the heat exchanger. komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachme…
