BeitragI would bet on the frother, take it a part and take some pictures.

Jura J9 Impressa - Lattemacchiato Programm läuft nicht Richtig. Kommt zu wenig Milch in die Tasse
BeitragI think if you get good steam but not enough milk suction look in to the frother it itself, take it a part all the way and soak it overnight in milk cleaner like Rinza or similar. Regular dishwashing soap will not clean milk protein chunks properly. You need to pull the dial out of the frother body it self to clean it properly.

Thanks BS, will look into it. Can I assume that if both grinders are set to the same setting those black markers should be on both in the same place? Also considering swapping the left and right grinder controls connector on the main board to test it, good or bad idea?

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga 5 | ca. Baujahr: 2015 Would be the best way to verify if the discs are actually moving? I tried for a week every day step by step but don't see any difference, grinder 2 is fine and working. would be the best way to verify if the discs are moving? Does it give any feedback to the controller if it actually moved? Thanks Mechanische Kenntnisse vorhanden: JA | Elektrische Kentnisse vorhanden: JA | Messgerät vorhanden: JA

Try to check all electrolytic capacitors on the board. Or take close up pic of the board it self, generally you can see when they are bad. Bad caps typically have a domed, or swollen top. Sometimes really bad caps can leak their electrolyte out of themselves too. Then you may see this brown crust around the capacitor, or perhaps on it. It often looks somewhat like a dried coffee stain .

Much appreciate the replay as usual BS! Thanks

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga X8c Professional | ca. Baujahr: 2017 I seen some discussion about these electronically controlled grinders before but somehow can't find it anymore. What is the life expectancy of the burr set on these grinders? I know that BS suggests avoiding taking these a part unless absolutely necessary but I would love to try changing the ceramic discs (burr set) in one of them. Did anyone attempt this? Where did you find the proper set? Thanks Mechanische Kenntnisse vo…

I did see the same problem on Z8 after transport (One month in shipping) After I opened the machine and took it a part, I noticed beans all over the machine, and crushed beans inside the display assembly. (Remove the back ABS black cap) After meticulous cleaning it never happened again. I suspect there was build up of static electricity inside.

I'll try to sell it to her that way Thanks BS!

So, confirmed, ESM disabled and the problem is no longer there. Never had this problem on and x8c machine with Level 2 ESM enabled, but these have extra pump just for the hot water.

Zitat von BlackSheep: „Hello, I don’t use the … ESM function. My GIGA 5 ist always on steam-temperature. Perhaps you should do the same… BS “ Thanks! I'll give it a shot! So no ESM what so ever right?

Zitat von BlackSheep: „Hello. First of all, I celebrate this particular machine because I absolutely hate matcha tea. “ Haaaahahahaha, I approve this message Mind you when I related this to my wife, she said you are "dead" to her BS This machine is European 2 pump version You are probably right about those outlet valves, what I noticed that especially the one that goes to the drip pan is really noisy and the puff it makes is very loud compared to other machines I had my hands on. Here is link to…

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga 5 | ca. Baujahr: Unbekannt Couple weeks ago we switched from x8C to the newly refurbished Giga 5 and got used to the difference, but there is one thing that drives every Matcha tea user crazy. The machine loves to spit short bursts of air/steam before it starts dispensing hot water. This will only happen on first use, second dose is fine. if you use the milk frother between dispensing hot water it will happen again on the first try. Is this a "feature" or the…

Depends on whether you want to buy something new or used. Zitat von BlackSheep: „ ...and if the cup lighting causes problems, you have to say goodbye to it, as replacing it can easily cost over €200... “ BS, can you please post detailed pic of those LEDs you need for replacement? I'll see if I can source these as well. Managed successfully find manufacturer that did sample size batch for me for the Giga at very reasonable price.

Hello Zitat von mayerha: „Zitat von harry owl: „that would be news to me I had already asked about this and was told that it is not possible Greetings Harald “ I spoke to a Jura Giga specialist on the phone. He was very nice, by the way. He will then look for the service point closest to you. They will do it. Don't ask me how much it costs. Otherwise the solenoid valve on the water tank would be obsolete. “ Ridicules prices over here in N.America not to mention virtually no service centers. Most…

Giga X3c with button version can be reprogrammed. (Tank filling) Zitat von mayerha: „ “ I was told the same thing but you would have to bring it to the dealer, not user programable, pretty disappointing.

Zitat von BlackSheep: „That's exactly why I avoid the stuff. “ C'mon BS, with your precision and perfectionist nature is hard to imagine that your machine would develop any problems like this

Descale the machine using external water tank, just put the water intake hose to the descale solution container. Even better would be to take all the water intake assembly out and descale the solenoid valve and pressure reducer manually. I seen the pressure reducer to go bad and others reported the same here recently, just see that post for solutions. (lookup x8c posts) Good luck and let us know how did you solve it!
