Are you using direct water line connection? perhaps you got air in the supply pipe?

Makes you wonder why they still make it this way, both z6 and z8 suffers from the same problems.

Thanks BS, that must be it. I guess this needs the whole new nipple (incl the chrome part) or is this available separate? I can always try to glue it.

It is nice and tight on the right part. It shoots like a bullet out when making milk froth. Great! It should work for long time, I just used piece of silicone tubing filled with epoxy to glue in appropriate size steel pin. after installing the sliding action is nearly perfect! Thanks BS!
