Jura E8 (G2) - JURA e8 stuck in finish descaling

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: E8 (G2) | ca. Baujahr: 2022

hi all,

I have a jura e8 2022.. with a problem.
When i turn it on, it asks to remove the tray.
After removing tray, it asks to rinse the watereservoir.
And after that its asking to fill system..
But i never heard the pump.. i think its the pump that is dead, but i want to ask before changing if this is a known issue?

I think that the pump died when doing descaling, and now its stuck in that mode.

Or is is possible that its the pcb?

today i replaced the pump.
But the pump is working nonstop.. thats why the previous pump broke.

People familiar with a pump that is constant running? Its probably a pcb issue, but where on the board?

The Triac might be broken. You have to find out wich one it is. The one with heat sink is for the heater.

i found the blown triac.. but cannot find the exact same one online or in a shop.
Can someone help? Where to buy?

At the EU PCB it might be this Triac for the pump
It has a gate current of 35mA

that is the same one, but its a new pcb..
The triacs are smaller and soldered on lying on the board.

hi all, fixxed the pump issue with replacing the blown triac! Thanks all!. But now i have the same issue with the brewgroupmotor.. i keeps rotating.. from moment i start machine. Triacs are all good. Machine worked very good since i replaced the triac for the pump. I already Replaced the decoder, but it didnt do anything. Someone already had this same issue?

If it keeps rotating the motor is defect or mounted false.
Has nothing to do with the electronic…

Here is a little more detailed:

An intact brew group drive motor is mechanically "stopped" at the end positions. The encoder detects that the motor is being controlled but is no longer moving – this generates the command to reverse direction. If this doesn't happen and the gears skip, it is either not mounted correctly, or (much more frequently) there is a break in the mounting lugs or a crack in the motorhousing.

thanx blacksheep! You fixxed it again. In that large gear that is mounted to the brewgroup, there where 2 teeth missing, i replaced it and now the machine is like new

Thats new…
In 25 years I saw never a brewgroup gear with missing teeth…(now correct - autocorrect…)
But the effect is the same :thumbup:

A crying (tears) brewgroup is new

A brewgroup without teeth must be old
