      hi all,

      I have a jura c9 that is giving a error 8.
      I cleaned the brewunit and is running fine by hand.
      Also replaced the decoder, but everrytime i turn on the machine the brewunit goed down.. and it gets stuck there till i get error 8.
      It looks like the pcb is nog getting a signal to go up, but decoder is replaced and nothing happend.

      It looks like the fault is in the pcb, can someone point me in the right direction? Cannot find anything by searching.

    • Hello.

      The brewing unit should initially move upwards after switching on. If this doesn't happen, either the drive is connected with reverse polarity, or the switch on the electronics (usually a relay) is defective.

      Theoretically, a fault with the rectifier could also be a possibility.

    • thanx.. after turning on, it goes directly down... what i did, i turned the polarity of the brewunit motor and when it started, the brewunit went up.. and then got stuck with error 8.
      I shut off the machine and returned the motor kabels as it should be.. now it started from top position and went down and up again..
      Something has been resetted? Because ow its working again.

      I have no ideaa how.. but i think machine was shut off with brewunit in top position.. and some how it kept it in memory.

    • In this case there is nothing to reset!

      I think there is a problem with the relay and the fault will appear again sooner or later. Error 8 only appears when the switching of the direction is not successful. The relay contacts where burned solid and through your attempts it has dissolved.
