Jura Z8 - Z8/Z6 frother end cap not tight (shoots out on frothing milk)

    • Jura Z8 - Z8/Z6 frother end cap not tight (shoots out on frothing milk)

      Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Z8 | ca. Baujahr: 2021

Strange problem with the end cap on the frother,
the rubber ring is very loose when inserted to the left black part that is encapsulated in the chrome tube.
It is nice and tight on the right part.
It shoots like a bullet out when making milk froth.
Is this rubber normally glued in to the ABS part since I don't see any friction fitting anywhere?

      Thanks

    • At my machines, the rubber-part has
4 molded rubber noses that hold it
in the plastic-part. So it can‘t be thrown
      out.
See if yours have shared of. In the
extension of the arrow it looks like there
could be recognized such a knob

    • Perhaps you can try to fix it with flat head pins
pierced through the rubber scraps and cut of
      at the right length.
Or only with the tips of the pins through the
shared off knobs down for about 1 mm or a
little more into the loose rubber cylinder. But
be careful that the pin-tips don´t get through
      the complete rubber-part.
