Jura Z5 (G2) Impressa - extra part that I can't ID anywhere, Probably from the drainage valve?
BeitragHersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Z5 (G2) Impressa | ca. Baujahr: Unbekannt Hi folks, I'm in trouble again Recently took Z5 brew group a part and now I have extra piece that I never seen before, and I have no idea where it goes I suspect that it must be somewhere in the drainage valve, but can't find any pictures of it even searching specifically for the Z5 drainage valve. Zitat von BlackSheep: „Look if there are traces of lime or water within the bracing bars of the black housing of the valve, or only outside where the hoses are mounted. “ No lime anywhere, all clean like new.

Yes, the valve is the same... Zitat von BlackSheep: „ But take NEW fabric hoses. If you don't have some, try to get them. Jura is telling that these are "one-way hoses" and must be changed eyery time disassembling. “ Will have to order the hose. Strange thing that this morning, several shots brewed, no leaking whatsoever. Will have to try all valve positions to see if it happens only for certain mode. That would help narrowing the problem down.

Zitat von BlackSheep: „If it is not from the hoses, it is bad. Could be you need a new ceramic valve. You can disasseble it and mount with a new form-seal and hope… “ Looks like Z5 is using the same ceramic valve will try to swap them and see. Thanks

Zitat von JoenneJuraSchraubaer: „I can do that for you. Please send me an email to: We can clarify everything else there. Best regards Joenne “ Much appreciated Joenne! I will email you when I have list of parts needed ready. Regards George

Looks like it's leaking somewhere around the black ceramic valve housing and the white plastic of the drive unit or perhaps where those 2 screws hold it together. Don't see any leaks around it. Also I can hear slight hissing when the unit is on for longer time.

Yes, but look forward. These mirrors have normally Zitat von BlackSheep: „a metal shaft - don't touch a power connection. “ Hehe, yeah, that would wake me up! Not that bad here @ only 120V though

Thank you for reply I don't want to bother people like that though.

Zitat von BlackSheep: „The black caps OF THE S9OT doesn't crack very often. But if it's broken, it's irrelevant how often this may happen. In many cases the problem are the fabric hoses. Perhaps you might have a look with a dentist mirror. Zitat von Lifeisfun: „To test anything there is major pain since it is so deep in there. “ To work on it is also very unpleasant. “ The dentist mirror is great idea! Thanks

If the valve cap or a hose is defect Zitat von BlackSheep: „there could be some water in the pan. “ That's unfortunate, I thought there could be pressure relief valve or something To test anything there is major pain since it is so deep in there. just to slide the tray out you have to disconnect everything. Do those black caps crack often on these?

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: S9 One Touch Impressa | ca. Baujahr: 2016 Once in the while I noticed that there is moisture in the drip tray pan under the boilers. Looks like it's concentrating under the ceramic valve since that's the only part in contact with the tray. Is there any scenario when there could be moisture in that area? that the brass drivin wheel on the electric motor shaft was slipping Zitat von BlackSheep: „Zitat von Lifeisfun: „ “ This also can happen - but you had a very rare problem. In 95% of the cases I know, the problem is the cable plug or the microswitches “ My Jura experience is nowhere near close to yours because they are so rare here, but never seen switch or the connector to fail. Another problem I seen is the carrier pins to shred off so the ceramic disc is not moving.

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Z5 (G2) Impressa | ca. Baujahr: 2014 It is very difficult to find Jura parts here in Canada not to mention the crazy prices here. Any European dealers that will ship to Canada? For some reason most ship to USA but not Canada. I need some parts for my Z5 (steam spout komtra.de/jura-ersatzteile/jur…-kaffeevollautomaten.html and other small parts) thanks Mechanische Kenntnisse vorhanden: JA | Elektrische Kentnisse vorhanden: JA | Messgerät vorhanden: JA

I had Z5 machine with the same problem, and the problem was that the brass drivin wheel on the electric motor shaft was slipping.

Found the problem, the driver wheel pins inside shredded off the ceramic disc ...what a design

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: S9 One Touch Impressa | ca. Baujahr: 2017 Got my hands on nice S9, cleaned it up, brew unit rebuild, but upon powering up and decalcification all water (both how water and coffee) drains to the drip tray via the drain pipe on the left side of the brew group. I presume the ceramic valve doesn't divert it properly or something is clogged? Is there hidden testing menu like on Saeco machines? Can someone give me a hint why? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Mechani…
