  • No kidding ... You probably meant the upper (thinner hose) ... and you are correct again

  • Thank you, you never fail Unwrapped the gunk of that connection and testing the elbow plugging one end and creating suction on the other its holding without leaking, so I hope the problem is the hose connecting to it or poorly seated o-ring on the other end. The hose is fine it was just covered with that clear gunk (not silicone) The plastics are truly POS on all Jura machines I seen Will try to save it somehow.

  • More questions after opening this thing ... What a disaster"repair" someone tried to stop a leak, will be interesting what is the problem, cracked elbow or bursted hose? Also the LCD bezel plastic is completely brittle and breaks like a piece of bread, is there way to get this part on its own? Thanks komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachment/17783/komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachment/17784/

  • I thought I lost it Thank you!

  • For testing I have imported older European E8 (with LCD and 3 buttons on left and right side of the screen) Working perfect on 240V here. I will ask additional question about it here so I don't have to open another thread. Is there way to see in the menu how many drinks was brewed? Can't find it anywhere in the menu. I downloaded several manuals for different versions but nowhere they show menu order where is what. Thanks.

  • You can get miniature switching power supply (100-250V to 3.3 or 5V/200mA) for $2-$4 This would be probably better way to handle this mod.

  • Do you hear the ceramic valve spinning with pauses or constant run?

  • From my experience you will need to fix or replace the ceramic valve. I had the same problem on S9 and Z5. Either the driving wheel is stripped or el.motor driving wheel is spinning on the shaft. Also defective micro switch could cause this problem. Do you hear the ceramic valve motor spinning?. I'm sure BS or others will chime in as well. • Zitat von JoenneJuraSchraubaer: „Too bad, if you had discovered the problem a little bit, I could have sent you some of the microswitches. Regards Jönne “ Got them on hand here Joenne, but thank you!

  • No guarantee, this one should fit: Zitat von Tobias.L: „reichelt.de/kurzhubtaster-6x6m….html?&trstct=pol_8&nbc=1 “ THANK YOU Tobias! Got this handy, in the kit I bought couple years ago

  • Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Z5 Impressa | ca. Baujahr: Unbekannt On the Z5 I just finished rebuilding I just noticed that the rinse button is not 100% reliable. I presume the microswitch is on it's way out. Anyone soldered in new replacement? If yes, can you please share the size and height of the switch so I can order it before I take it apart? I did this many times on various Saeco machines but never on Jura thanks ....I think it's safe to say that BS will be the one who will rescue me wit…

  • Zitat von BlackSheep: „Do not worry Be Happy…. Only one pump and one boiler two things that can't break. But two electronic ceramic valves. “ Hahahaha, and those suckers sure like to break

  • Zitat von BlackSheep: „The Z10 has only one heater - so the maximum powerconsumption is 1450W. But I think you will need a frequency converter even if you mange to get 220-230V. “ I have contacted Jura dealer that sells EU machines world wide (South Korea 220V/60Hz) and the frequency is apparently no issue. No converter needed. The model Jura South Korea sells is 15360. kr.jura.com/en/homeproducts/ma…15360/Specifications#tabs Not happy about the single boiler

  • 220V, 230V, 240V - I think this may be not so critical - but I don´t know actually. Zitat von BlackSheep: „Bigger problem seems to be the 50hz or 60hz - but I'm not an electronics engineer so it's irrelevant what I assume... “ Yes, voltage is no problem. With higher frequency AC motors will spin faster. It is generally easier on any electronic to go from 50 to 60HZ than the other way around. I'm considering ordering z10 EU version if the price is right, tempted by the cold brew option BTW the re…

  • Zitat von BlackSheep: „You can check these things for yourself. Go to www.jura.com choose Europe and Germany than to "Menu" and "Support and Service" now "Instruction Manuals" finally choose machine line and type. In the User manual its shown nearly at the end by "Technical data" For the S8 and S8 (EA) its: 220-240V 50hz “ Thank you! Very interesting, I suspect that they just list whatever is appropriate for the country where they sell it. Doubt that they make different machines if both countrie…

  • Z10 EA/SA/INTA: 220-240V 50hz Zitat von BlackSheep: „ Z8 15063: 220-240V 50Hz Z8 15062: 230V 50Hz Z8 15147: 240V 50Hz All information taking from the German user manual. “ Thank you! Can you please check what does the German manual list for the S8?

  • Zitat von Kaffeeplanet: „ALARM! Today the worktop was under water because the machine is massively leaking (right side). I'll open it myself these days and see where the "water ingress" is coming from before I take it back to the workshop, because they can tell me a lot ..... thermoblock, ceramic valve, etc. and that can get really expensive again. currently the "faithful Z5" made coffee again and everything is fine with it. Will report under - Jura Z8 loose water! - with photos of the patient's…

  • Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Z8 | ca. Baujahr: 2022 I'm doing some searching about the power specs for the European versions of Z8 and Z10 and can't find the right answers When I look up S8 it clearly states 220-240V 50-60Hz suprajaya.com/file/file_downlo…254758_JURA_S8_chrome.pdf That means it will be 100% compatible in North America since we get in kitchens 110V/ 15A/60Hz outlets that have 2 separate circuits Easily convertible to 220V/60Hz Anyone? Thanks Mechanische Kenntnisse vorhanden: J…

  • Hi Zitat von BlackSheep: „ is there a result in this point? I only met you at another board talking about energy and "downsizing" the machine technology. B.S “ Waiting for some parts to arrive before I open it again so I can do that in one shot. Machine is working great so getting wired on espresso in the meantime now. Hehe, I did noticed you there BS, pointed out that you are the Jura specialist there

  • Thanks BS, I'll take a look at it. Machine works great now so I presume BG is installed correctly. The solenoid was never taken out from what I know so perhaps the core is lose as you said.
