      Hallo,

      da meine ENA 7 - wohl ziemlich Baugleich mit ENA 5 - keinen Kaffee mehr auswarf habe ich brav entkalkt und das erste mal nach Jahren die Brühgruppe komplett gereinigt, Dichtungen erneuert, alle Einlässe, Leitungen kontrolliert und wieder eingesetzt, leider noch immer die gleichen Symptome:

      - heisses Wasser aus Aufschäumer Düse kann ich ziehen
      - beim brühen von Kaffee, hört man zwar verzweifelte Pumpgeräusche, aber es kommt kein Kaffee durch das System
      - Trester wird trocken ausgeworfen
      - beim erneuten starten der Maschine, wir aufgefordert zu entlüften
      - nach entlüften geht die Maschine auf "Bereit"
      - ... und das Spiel kann erfolglos von vorne beginnen.

      Hat jemand einen Tip, wie ich das beheben kann?

    • I have a very similar problem, with an Impressa J5, grounds are dry and water is going directly into the waste tray instead of the brew group.
      ​
      I have replaced the outlet valve / Auslaufventil with a new one. I also tested it with the outlet valve disconnected from the brew group, and there is a flow of water from the outlet valve.

      I did remove the brew group and the drainage valve seems to be moving freely and not blocked.

      What can the problem be?

    • Perhaps the white valve-cap is damaged and same of the valve-rod.

      So you are suggesting that the drainage valve is sticking open, or not fully closing? The rod that pushes the valve appears to be straight and undamaged. The white part of the drainage valve is also smooth and undamaged,

      I also fitted a new drainage valve solenoid/Magent as part of the job, so maybe I have connected something wrongly.

      Could this be an electrical problem - not fully actuating the drainage valve?

    • I did some further work on the J5 replaced the seals and O-rings in the drainage valve. At first this fixed the problem - the rinse was normal and I made 5 or 6 espressos that were good.

      Then, "bang", the hose from the Heater/Erhitzer to the Outlet valve/Auslaufventil burst at the Outlet valve/ connection. Maybe the hose was damaged from being moved too many times during the maintenance? I changed the hose with a new piece, but after that I was back to the same problem. The machine makes the normal noises, but the grinds are dry, hot water is in the waste tray and no espresso comes out!!

    • According to Jura, this kind of hose may only fittet once - than you have to take a new hose
      because of internal structural damage of the hose.

      Try this:
      take only the drip tray without this part:

      and try to press the microswitch that the machine is thinking all parts are assembled.
      Than try to make a coffee and look where the water pours within the machine.

      If the water goes in the waste tray itself, there is a problem with the assambling of the brewing-
      unit or a problem with the gaskets. Perhaps also a hairlinecrack brewing-cylinder.

      If the water goes in the drip tray is could be the brewing-unit or the drainge-valve at the brweing unit.
      But if you look like a said, you will see from where the water comes.

    • Ein verzweifeltes Hallo…
      Unsere ENA 7 quält sich seit einigen Wochen, wenn wir Kaffee trinken wollen. Das Wasser-Pump Geräusch wird immer lauter und dann … passiert nix. Gemahlener Kaffee wird trocken ausgeworfen und die Fehlermeldung “Hahn öffnen” erscheint. Nachdem das dann erfolgreich und ohne quälende Geräusche getan wurde; das System also wieder mit Wasser gefüllt wurde, können wir unseren Kaffee bekommen. Es funktioniert dann wieder ein paar mal bis das ganze von vorn beginnt. Nun haben wir unsere Maschine schon komplett gereinigt und auch schon das Auslaufventil ausgetauscht/erneuert.

      Was könnte das Problem verursachen? Gibt es etwas, was wir übersehen haben und ggf. erneuern oder reinigen sollten? Wasser aus dem Hahn funktioniert ja ohne Probleme … ?(
