    • Jura E8 (G2) - brewunit not returning to startposition after coffee?

      Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: E8 (G2) | ca. Baujahr: 2017

Hello everyone,I have a problem that I really dont understand.I have a Jura e8. The brewing unit has been refurbished..When i turn on the machine, the brew-unit does its proces and ends in starting position. but when i make a cup of coffee, the brew-unit makes coffee, and throws the coffee puck in the wastebin. But after the brew-unit is finished the brew-unit doesnt stop in Start-position, but stops in the end position.I already replaced the decoder on the motor, but it didnt change anything.someone knows where to search?thanks!!

    • If the brewing chamber is closed, than its a fault by refurbishing,
e.g. take some grease at places there may not be any grease
(like curved track) or worn-out cuved tracks.
If the big gear isn‘t in the right position, the electronic board
      will be broken.

    • i dont understand. When i turn on machine, brew-unit stops in start-position.
I rebuild the brew-unit again, but didnt see any isseus.. and still after making a cup of coffee, i get a coffee and the brew-unit drops the coffeepuck in the waste bin. Then the brew-unit goes up and all the way down (closed chamber) and stops.. then the machine is ready.

    • Stops the brewing unit in start position
but the brewing chamber ist nonetheless
closed or stops it in an totally wrong
      postion?

If the total position is right but the chamber
is closed, its a mechanical problem at the
brewing unit. If it stops in a totally wrong
position it will be a electronical problem
which can‘t be solved by yourself.

I don‘t know what is not to understand at
      this statement.

    • This:
it could be used some grease at places there may not be
any grease (like curved track) or worn-out cuved tracks.

Or its too heavy to move at all.
