Zitat von Paulch3n: „The transparent which connect on the top is for coffee. the other transparent one, which connect at the bottom is for hot water. “ Thanks. I guess this was what I was looking for. And the red and white are located correctly?

Thanks for the replies. So know I know inside the machine. Then were on the front. If you could guide me on the photo here. It may not be right.

Hi both, Thanks for the quick answers. I'm not sure what the terms "expansion vessel" and "coffee sprout" are referring to on the kaffeauslauf. But I will take some more images of the Kaffeauslauf when I get home. But this video (of a NICR 831 I think) - there are 4 hoses going from the kaffeeauslauf, correct? youtube.com/watch?v=cbf_UVPVHJY And since there are 3 connections to the KV and 1 to the Bruiheinheit, I assumed that 4 hoses should go out of the front assembly.

Hersteller: Nivona | Typ-/Modell: NICR 839 - Typ 692 CafeRomatica | ca. Baujahr: 2016 Hi all, I have previously, with success, fixed my current NICR 839-692 which I am currently using. I have gotten my hands on an identical model which needed an overall renovation. So I disassembled as much as I could and put it back together. However, I failed to document my steps to disassemble, and now it does not work properly. I want to rule out possibilites of either wires being connected wrongly, or - mor…

I’ll check it out. Thanks a lot! Appreciate so very much!

Do you have an image or link that shows this? I’m afraid I have not paid attention to this, so would like to know if there is something to correct. No €8 is nothing, but the shipping costs of €20 annoys me

Zitat von sb_NUE: „Nope, I thought about another reason. The lip seal ring is inside the drain valve housing and must be installed in the correct orientation in order to block the water flow. “ I didn’t notice the lip seal ring orientation in the instruction video. Is it the standard red one inside the valve? There’s no orientation to that one I think...? About the clogged nozzle, pressurized air cannot remove it? Better get a new one then...

Ok, so I found the culprit. The lower part of the drainage valve was not fastened to the metal glider in the little insert. So that was the reason why no coffee was coming out. Is that the same as you mentioned? If what is the lip seal ring - just for future knowledge if I ever get such problems again. So now back to the initial problem - which wasn’t solved by my cleaning and replacement of hoses; I have attached a video of the output. The coffee tastes fine, but it seems only one of the large …

Ok, will try to disassemble and assemble again. the how water was coming nicely and the attached video shows how the milk is being produced ok, but then no coffee is coming. Is there a manual on how to correctly assemble the drainage valve? youtu.be/QqjBrBE4Wqw
-
No, I haven’t tried this before. So will avoid that in the future. I can reseat the brewing unit again but I’m not sure what to film in order to make it more clear what is happening. the first time I tested it after reassembling all, the milk production was fine. After that, no coffe was running. I can just try to make hot water and milk, and will film that as well.

Well, I can show the front of the nivona with no coffee coming out, but that would not help a lot I guess. instead I have videoed how the drainage valve is working when producing coffee. I have emptied the bean chamber, therefore no coffee is coming down. But is it can be seen, the water just runs down into the chamber below. This is the link: youtu.be/m99xFj2Gapo

Hersteller: Nivona | Typ-/Modell: NICR 839 - Typ 692 CafeRomatica | ca. Baujahr: 2017 Hi, I have previously had a lot of problems with the milk frother, but it runs smoothly now. However, because it seemed like one of the auslauf nozzles was clotted, I had the machine disassembled and replaced some of the hoses to the auslauf from the cheramic valve. Also the one from the brewing unit. as I already had the whole machine apart, I chose to take the drainage valve out and clean it properly. I’m pre…

Zitat von sb_NUE: „I had a similar problem before. The magnet got stuck in the upper position but flipped down as soon as the tank was just slightly moved. You can try to clean the magnet area as good as possible. But if it doesn't help, you will need a new tank. “ It really feel like a very trivial problem that it cannot float freely inside the small container. How would you recommend cleaning it? Apart from just giving it a good shake to break some of the possible calcium residues...?
-
Well, Once the water had been used again, the system did not detect that the tank was empty, and came with the same error once again. I'm pretty sure that the small insert in the water tank was positioned right - in the bottom of the small container. So is the sensor at fault?
-
Hi @sb_NUE, You were right again. The water tank was empty :O The small floating magnet in the water tank must not have floated properly because I was not warned about the empty tank. As soon as I filled it with water, everything worked again. The error message is misleading somewhat - first saying 'coffee powder' then 'Filling system'. Nevertheless, I'm happy its working again.

Hersteller: Nivona | Typ-/Modell: CafeRomatica NICR 839 | ca. Baujahr: 2017 Hi, My Nivona reported this morning 'Coffe powder' and wanted me to press the wheel button. When pressed it says 'Filling system'. The machine hums for about 15 seconds, and stops at the same message again. No way to get out of it. Video below. I read a few other people having the same problem - some reported issues with the Flow Meter - the reseller said that it could be the pump not being able to get water through the …

So regarding the milk frother problem - it seems to have been resolved, thanks to the descaling procedure. So crossing my fingers, but it looks really good. One thing though, the 839 uses much more milk at the same settings as the 831 model. If I set the Cappucino at the exact same settings for both units, the 839 uses roughly about twice as much milk. Maybe it's just something that we need to get used to. If you would like to see a video of the comparison, please let me know. About the brewing …

Zitat von BlackSheep: „Zitat von carstenpanch: „What is the descaler called here in the shop? “ I don´t understand why you are asking us.Look at the shop: komtra.de/reinigung-pflege/entkalkung.html BS “ I'm asking because @sb_NUE mentioned 'Amidosulfonic acid' which I cannot find in the shop. There are numerous of entkalkers, so I'm sure he must be referring to something specific. As I also wrote earlier, Amidosulfonic acid is not that easy to find in Denmark, and if it's the "only one to be use…

Zitat von sb_NUE: „Yes, this type of descaler is available here in the shop. “ What is the descaler called here in the shop?

Zitat von Moreteen: „carstenpanch in this thread it`s a milk frother problem. This is my suggestion in your threatn about your Milk frother problem: "To solve your milk frother problem I recomment to order aside of the items suggested by sb_Nue this as well." But if you get a "great cappucino" as you mentioned after discaling your mashine then this will not help much. “ I know - but I'm still not sure since I haven't been testing that long. So all the possible solutions to this general 'milk fro…
