It has took 2 months to get my last order of parts, but I am happy to say that I now have a working machine!!! It is making beautiful milk foam and everything is very very hot. Replacing the Ventilauslauf made a HUGE difference. Milk stopped spitting and it was heating up the milk again. This part was newly redesigned so it looked a bit different than the part we took out. Once we figured out which way to install it the improvement was instant. I want to say thank you for all the advice and help…

Thanks to you both! I found the Auslaufventil and the replacement came in the mail yesterday. I did the repair today and I no longer have water in the drip tray when making milk, but the spitting continues. I have ordered new o-rings for the Auslaufventil because they did send those and I am ordering a new hoses for the milk tank and the new part pictured below. Hopefully something will work to fix the spitting of the milk foam ADMIN: I deleted the Picture. Here ist a Link to the shown part: kom…

I have been traveling for work or I would have responded sooner. I do have water in the drip tray during the milk foam making process. I also have ordered an Auslaufventil to see if replaceing that piece will make a difference. I have look at the machine but cannot tell where the Auslaufventil attaches to. Can you give me any information or repair instructions for that part?

My milk tube connectors measure 3mm for the hole.

Here are some photos of the tube that connects the milk island to the machine. I do not see any defects in the tube or connectors, but it is the original tube that came with the machine. My husband asks what the red and white tubes attached to the Keramikventil do and if those could be causing the spitting of the milk. We did have to take them off and examine them. Is it possible that disturbing those connections is causing the milk to spit? Again, thank you for your thoughts and advice.

When you say, Cappu-Milk-Tube do you mean the tube attached to my milk island?

Hello, My husband finally had a chance to work on our machine this weekend. Today We took out the red and white hoses and they looked clean. We did notice that the rubber-nozzle from out of the elekctric ceramic valve needed to be cleaned. We noticed build up inside when we examined it with a flashlight. We soaked in some water and cleaned it out with a small toothpick. Once we cleaned it we could see through the hole better with the flashliht. We put it back in the machine we got Very Very hot …

Thank You!! It will probably be the weekend before my husband can the parts you suggest. I am so grateful to have someone knowledgeable helping me. I did not check the milk temp, but I can say it is not even warm to the touch. It is room temperature. I assume the amount of steam getting to the milk is just enough to take the chill off, but nothing more.

We bought the machine in Germany May of 2015 and used it in Germany until August 2016. Since then it has been used in the USA. It is wired directly into a 240 V 60 Hz circuit. It has 120 on each leg where in Germany it had 230V on one leg, and one leg was neutral. It has worked fine until around September 2017 when we started to gradually notice less heat and less froth in the milk. Espresso has always been hot and brewed like normal. Is there anything is affected by frequency? The boiler plate …

Thank you so much!! My husband, an electrical engineer, needs to read your last 2 posts and he will be better and understanding and answering your questions. Thank you very very much for your help. He will be home later today and I will have him look at your post. Question- Is it possible to know if the nozzle is too wide without taking that part off the machine to examine it?

Thank you I will contact Melitta about getting the part.

Is this the part you are suggesting?. We just replaced Aufschaumer, so this would be all that is left. Thank you for all your help. komtra.de/melitta-ersatzteile/…litta-caffeo-ci-e970.html

I just ran a test.... with the Milk Island NOT connected. When I push the button for Milk I get a lot of steam- A Whole Lot of Steam. I did then attach the milk island and with cold milk from the refrigerator I got milk that was only warmed to room temperature, not even really warm, just not ice cold anymore I just replaced the Auslaufverteiler Milchaufschäumer and the Ansaugdüse Milchsystem. Here is a picture of what the machine did without the milk tank attached. Also, I get very very hot espr…

I'm not sure.... should I NOT connect the milk island, but press the button to make milk to see if the steam is produced? Just let me know and I will do a test. Thanks!
