Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga 5 | ca. Baujahr: 2014 EDIT: Got it, top and bottom clips Another puzzle You Europeans sure know how to create puzzles when designing stuff! I got bad main power switch in Giga 5, took the power block out but can't figure out how to remove the power connector/switch from it. Don't see any retaining clips, nothing. I presume BS to the rescue? Thanks komtra.de/forum/index.php/Attachment/19633/ Mechanische Kenntnisse vorhanden: JA | Elektrische Kentnisse vorhande…

Zitat von BlackSheep: „The milk-hose is original and has no cracks or cuts? “ Yes, all brand new. Strangely enough those big bubbles start developing right after the frothing ends. Not enough protein in the milk? I don't know. Most of the foam disappears within 5 minutes

Zitat von BlackSheep: „ “ Thanks B.S.! I'll start with the orings and will see if that helps.

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga X8c Professional | ca. Baujahr: 2016 I got in x8c machine that suddenly started to make poor microfoam. The froth is full of large bubbles. Ordered complete new frother and exactly the same thing is happening. Where would you look now to solve this problem? What is the size of those 2 orings where the frother is attached? Is it possible that it takes some air in that area? Ideas? Thanks! Mechanische Kenntnisse vorhanden: JA | Elektrische Kentnisse vorhanden: …

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragSo, I couldn't resist and took it apart again... The regulator in the machine does absolutely nothing, I screwed it in and out both ways and it did not change the problem one bit. I suspect it's faulty. Strangely enough the part is not even available on Komtra or I just could not find it.

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragZitat von BlackSheep: „Zitat von Lifeisfun: „Do you think the pressure reducer works differently than that? “ Sorry - I never have a machine with fix water in my hands. So I don't know the parts built in and also don't know what function seems to be correct or not... I think you shouldn't guess you should measure. Have in your mind that the fuc*** Sysko pumps let pass water even with a relatively low pressure… “ I'm surprised that it didn't leak before the Sysko pump let the water to go in. From…

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragZitat von BlackSheep: „Sorry, can‘t help. Never worked at a fix water machine. Something with the pressure reducer? Pressure should have only 0,2 bar! “ BS, do you think I should try descale fresh water connection? Perhaps the regulator would benefit from that if its frozen? The descaling never goes that way since it's using the internal tank.

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragI thought about it but when I open the supply valve just a bit it doesn't make any difference. Do you think the pressure reducer works differently than that?

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragWell, not sure what is the problem, all I know is the water enters the condenser and it steams and drains to the pan. Same when making coffee or after it does self cleaning when you turn it off. There is way more water in the pan after brewing than it was before this started. Help to solve this would be appreciated. Thanks EDIT: It just occurred to me that this probably started to happen when the machine was connected to fixed water supply. Disconnected it again used container as water source an…

Jura Giga X8c Professional - Hissing sound after the brew cycle, similar to dripp style coffee maker
BeitragHersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: Giga X8c Professional | ca. Baujahr: 2017 My X8c recently developed strange phenomena, after every brew there is for about 30 seconds hissing and popping very similar to what you hear at the end of the cycle using regular coffee maker. Then it can sit for hours completely quiet. After you make a coffee, same sound again. Ideas? Zitat von BlackSheep: „If I find time I take photos of the original Jura "V1", "V2", the two sorts of "V3" and the "HP" and "Aroma+". But I‘m not sure, that I have all Versions left in my fund… The "things" named "V5" have nothing to do with Jura. In my opinion, this is nothing more than rubbish. Because with "V5" the machines are operated outside of the specifications and also outside the specified programm setting options für coffee strength. “ I was looking hard for some pictures that would c…

The left one is Jura (V3) Zitat von BlackSheep: „the right one is Saeco (V5) The very old Jura V2 from the year 1999 or 2000 looks a little bit like the V5… “ Sir, you never disappoint! Thanks!

Hersteller: Jura | Typ-/Modell: SONSTIGES | ca. Baujahr: Unbekannt Can someone please ID these two burr sets? I believe the right one is V5 but I have no clue what is the one on the left. I did meet another Giga 5 user, and his machine (same fw) has exactly the same bug in the programming. To make double cup the default setting is loaded instead of the modified setting. Only option to have it fixed would be to send the machine to Toronto to have the fw upgraded. This service is not free even when this is clearly manufacturers fault. Not worth the money since just the 2 way shipping would be $250 I guess we will have to consider it as a feature from Jura.

Question was how to remove the front panel to access the pinch valve
-
Zitat von BlackSheep: „Don‘t know and can‘t find out whats the latest version for North American machines. You have to ask a Jura Professional dealer. “ Hehe, that put chuckle on my face! The service here is pretty much non existent. Arrogant and not helpful at all. Only option is to send it in and that is $450+, and from my understanding they will find many things to add every time! BS, could you do me a favor and try to modify Latte Macchiato settings on your Giga 5 and see if they applied for…

Manufacturer: Jura | Type/Model: Z8 | approx. year of manufacture: 2016 Zitat von Baldur02: „I have a JURA Z8 here. There is probably a blockage in the pinch valve. This is installed behind the control panel, but how do you get to it? Mechanical knowledge available: YES | Electrical knowledge available: YES | Measuring device available: YES “ Hehe, learned here from BS... Lift the display module remove screws there (don't remember exactly just remove it to be sure0 Pull the middle piece down and…

Just out of curiosity, did you try to reset the machine to default factory settings? That could eliminate bad configuration saved somewhere. I would make sure that the ceramic valve functions properly as well.
